-
Set date, time, and chime volume on the monitor
- Adjust screen brightness, ringtone, and volume using the front buttons.
-
Choose your mounting location
- Place the doorbell 48–60 inches (120–150 cm) from the ground, near door trim.
- Ensure Wi-Fi/monitor signal is strong at that spot; move closer if needed.
-
Pick a mounting plate
- Use the solid slot plate for flat surfaces.
- Use the open-window plate if routing wires or aligning to a junction box.
-
Mark holes
- Hold the plate against the wall, level it, and mark screw positions.
-
Drill and insert anchors (masonry/brick/stucco only)
- Drill pilot holes; insert wall anchors flush with the surface.
- For wood, skip anchors and use screws directly.
-
Attach the mounting plate
- Secure with the provided screws; confirm it’s firmly fixed and level.
-
Mount the doorbell
- Slide the doorbell onto the plate until it clicks.
- Tighten any set screw on the bottom if present.
-
Test operation

- Adjust angle by reseating on the plate if needed.
-
Finalize settings
- Set motion detection/sensitivity and notification preferences.
- Adjust screen sleep timer/brightness.
- Apply the Secure Vista stickers near the entry if desired.

Tips
- If video lags, reduce monitor distance or minimize obstacles between devices.
- Recharge the doorbell when the battery indicator is low; charge via the USB-C port.
- For weather exposure, mount under an eave if possible and avoid direct rainfall runoff.
